Holiday Fun - Short & Sweet...

We are getting ready for more holiday celebrations and just wanted to share a little bit of fun from the past weekend...

There was a Hot Tamale Making Party with some very dear friends...

And then there was the Christmas Tree Cutting Party...

(Look closely...Barry marked his tree with a cup so that the big crowd around him wouldn't try to take it.  lol)

BUT, that wasn't THE tree.  So off we went.

And it was freeeeeezing cold!  Needless to say, the crew was very efficient finding THE perfect tree.

This week, J & J had to catch up on getting new products onto our little baby, Barn House Marketplace.  Below are a few of the most recently added items...

Enjoy your family and friends this holiday season!

Pork, beef, or spinich? I need to send y'all some authentic TexMex tamales! Tell me...were y'all worn out after making 'em, 'cause that is a lot of work. I'm impressed!

I wanted to stop in and wish you both a very Merry Christmas and to say you are brave souls making tamales. I would watch my mother-in-law make them and what a process it was, but oh aren't they so good! My mother is in your neck of the woods and I so wish I could have tagged along. Wish you the best Christmas, T

I love homemade tamales. I've never made them myself but have heard they are a lot of work. Sounds like some good eats!

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas.

LOL! It looks like you all had such a great time making those tamales. They really look good! Is that a Christmas tradition around Barn House? :)

Can hardly wait to see the decorated tree!

Merry Christmas to you both!

What fun you had, the very essence of the Holidays is Love... the Love of the Lord for us all... the spending of time, talents and treasures with those we Love... and showing Love outwardly to those outside our immediately Family and sphere of influence... seems like you're right on top of displaying Love in action and that makes for THE most wonderful and memorable of Holiday Seasons... Christmas Blessings... If I don't have much help making Tamales they don't get made *wink*...Dawn... The Bohemian
