If you came to our first show, we hope you felt the excitement, the love, the friendship, the emotion and the sincere gratitude. We also hope you found MANY treasures you couldn't live without AND ALSO left with a feeling of what Barn House is all about! And we REALLY hope we didn't scare anyone with the hugs!! :o)
What a beautiful place and what a fun way to spend the morning! It was truly a treat and I came home with so many fun treasures! Until next time.... Allie One of the "Adorn" girls!
Joe and Jermonne, you have done an incredible job, I had so much fun shopping and visiting, and truly felt warmly welcomed...!! Not to mention my excitement for the beautiful things I brought home!! Can't wait for the next one!! Isabel ~ Maison Douce
Are you kidding?! The hugs were the best part! It was an incredible event and I am so looking forward to the next one and also getting to know you boys better. Many Thanks - Rebekah
J&J, You guys out-did yourselves! It was fun to find you in such a beautiful location. Look forward to your next event. Loved the chickens. They add a sense of peace and tranquility to your already serene setting. Keep in touch, Martha & Mark
oh my sweet friends, I feel like an ole' mother hen who is so proud of her little hatchlings.. I am so impressed, my only disappointment was not being there to share the moments with you, before, during and after.... much love and you both can hug me all you want!!!! Mother Willow
How awesome!!! Love your farm, barns, stuff, and energy. So glad I found your blog through Miss T's. Wish I could get out west. Congratulations!!!! Peg, French Vanilla
J&J: you guys make me green with envy that I couldn't be there. Come show us Texans how's its done!! Great set ups, hope you did well!! ps: ya'll should open a B&B, your place looks so relaxing, inviting, and just pretty! Of course you would do this in your spare time :)
J & J - Thank you for the amazing event. In simple words it was just a warm and wonderful way to spend a Saturday morning with great people that love cool old stuff. I brought along 2 out of 3 daughters and a grand baby. We were a little late due to dragging my 17 year old daughter out of bed to join us. It was a job but resulted in her having a great experience that she talked about all day. When a 17year old realizes that it was better than sleeping in you know you hit a home run. Thanks for all you did to make "our" day wonderful. Fondly, Nina
Congratulations on a very big success. I heard all about it after a very long overview with my friend Rebekah of Little Byrd. I would love to have been there, perhaps in the very near future...meanwhile I was at the Kobe Swap meet in San Diego - not such a sight for the senses, but I did find some good treasures soon to be shown on my blog.
I was so sad I wasn't able to come to your party, I mean sale. I got great reports from both Isabel and Joy. They both said you have an amazing home and the sale was just awesome. I will defintely make it a point to come to your next sale. The hugs alone would be worth the trip. ha ha
Dear 2 Js: Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, it meant so much to me. I'm so sad I had to miss your sale, (Grandparent stuff)... June is on my calendar. Thank you so much for the invitation too. Can't wait to see you and your place. Congrats on your first show there, looks like it was a smashing success! Hurray! Hugs, Sheila Halo Hill
Bravo! Your Grand Opening was Amazing! You guys truly inspired me. It was so nice to hug (I mean meet)you-haha! I also loved the chickens. I only wish they had been giving out hugs that day :-) And if you read Laurie's comment on Joy's blog...please don't worry I would never "really" dye an animal pink ;-)
If I lived closer 'the Barnhouse' would have been one of my regular stops...for tea and cake! for 'snuffels' which means 'browsing' in Afrikaans...and for the hugs!
I went with friends to this place http://www.petershamnurseries.com/) which was absolutely gorgeous! Love love love it! Get the same feeling of Barnhouse, but think your place have way more character!

I'm laughing still, at what a day I've had today! I've been searching the net for Natalie, b/c she used to have things in our shop and we love her and lost her after Texas. So, here I was searching Willow Nest, looking for her to turn up. A few weeks ago, I came upon you guys, and so YES, we have to come up there. I had told my daughter about your place I found. Well, this morning I get a call from Natalie out of the blue, saying she's actually in Clatskanie!!! Well, I'm laughing b/c she's asks if I've heard of Barn House! And she has Joe with her, and here they come to visit! It was wonderful! We've got some other friends who are going to love Barn House, too! Karen
What a wonderful blog! Your event looks great, wish I were close enough to attend, I could spend DAYS there. The photos alone will inspire me for days.
